How we write
The rules behind every OneTapVote article, guide and comparison.
Who writes
Articles are signed “By OneTapVote”: they are written by the people who build OneTapVote, not by a named persona. We don't invent authors, job titles or credentials.
How we use AI
AI tools help us find sources, outline a topic and draft parts of the text. Since 31 October 2026 a person reviews every article before it is published: checks each fact against its source, edits the text and removes what we can't back up. The same check covers titles, descriptions and image alt text.
Numbers and claims
- Every statistic links to where it comes from. If we can't find a source, the number goes.
- When a number is our own, from OneTapVote polls or flows, we say so and say how it was counted.
- We don't write “we tested” unless the test happened and the post shows what we found.
- We describe what OneTapVote does today. Features and integrations that don't exist are not mentioned as if they did.
- Comparisons use the other product's public pages. Plans and features change, so check them on the vendor's site before you decide.
Dates
The “updated” date on an article changes only when its text changes, not when we republish or redesign the page.
Corrections
