Who it's for
- SaaS companies running 7/14/30-day trials
- Product-led growth teams
- Founders doing customer discovery
- Customer success teams closing trial loops
The problem
- ·Most trial users leave without saying a word.
- ·Long exit surveys get ignored.
- ·You don't know if it was price, features, or onboarding that lost them.
How it works
- 1
Trigger a send when a trial ends (or days before expiry).
- 2
Users rate the trial experience 1–5 in one tap.
- 3
High scores can be routed to your upgrade or pricing page.
- 4
Low scores reveal: 'What stopped you from upgrading?'
- 5
Tag patterns in the dashboard and feed them to product.
Example question
“How was your trial?”
Threshold: 4/5 — ratings at or above this number route to the review page; below this number trigger a private follow-up.
Questions
Can I trigger sends automatically from my product?
Today sends are manual or segment-based. Automated trigger-on-event is on the roadmap — for now, export expiring trials into a segment.
Can I route high scorers to the upgrade page instead of a review site?
Yes — the review URL field is just an arbitrary URL. Point it at your pricing page, Stripe checkout, or a discount landing page.
